Akhentek is currently contributing to musical genre that derives strength from a unique biological integration of sound into the consciousness experience. His intricately weaved ambient and psychedelic trance music is highly influenced by various indigenous cultures, specifically those comfortable with the psychointegratory processes provided by plant hallucinogens native to their environments. One of the most prominent influences are certain tribes native to the South American continent which possess extensive knowledge of their plant kingdom.

As a result, mythology, artwork, medicine and philosophy are in turn affected by the cultivated relationship to a particular blend of Amazonian fauna that illicits not only hallucinatory properties, but can also give rise to synesthetic and other seemingly-superhuman experience. A central role of this practice, however, involves the careful use of curiously sacred sonication developed by shamans in the Amazon as a result of their tremendously unique by today’s standards lifestyle.

Akhentek revives these seemingly archaic abilities by using state of the art music technology, but not without an in depth consideration of contributing factors which helped build what is now known as the personal computer revolution. By crossing the wires of computer-based informational technology with the vines of neuro-transmissional Amazonian medicine, Akhentek’s music stands to metamorphose from music to a highly advanced, psychotropically informed healing apparatus.
